Our pedagogical approach
Our school bases its method on pedagogical activism embodied by a progressive education (see Dewey and Pizzigoni) that places the learning process on experiential and creative paths strongly linked to the environment and nature.
Our school bases its method on pedagogical activism embodied by a progressive education (see Dewey and Pizzigoni) that places the learning process on experiential and creative paths strongly linked to the environment and nature. From this point of view, the space-environment (whether closed or open) is considered the co-protagonist of the educational process. The environment shapes the learning processes based on the relationship that the child independently and directly establishes with it and with the other elements that make it up. This is the starting point for all the school’s educational proposals. In this vision, the child has an active role in the learning process; he is the protagonist because he constitutes his knowledge in an environment that enhances his freedom and stimulates his natural creativity.
